Firstly - get us a sample of your work. If it's good enough and well produced - suitable for commercial release, we can help you distribute it through our record shop - no strings attached!

for our address and to indicate that you are sending a sample. We will tell you what needs to be done to get it into the shop.

Secondly - if we like your work enough and it's selling well, we may offer you a deal to take you further. We will then start working to promote your albums and releases in the right commercial context

1. The recording contract

A C'mon Records recording contract generally has the following features:

*The record company agrees to provide professional recording and mastering facilities to the band or artist and to duplicate an agreed number of CDs for them

*The band or artist agrees to buy fixed quantities of CDs to retail at gigs for a pre-arranged price which will leave them with a good margin of profit.

*The record company may further agree to market the band or artist's materials by web. In this instance, the recording company will retain a fixed percentage of profits obtained.

*The band or artist agrees to give the record company sole reproduction and distribution rights over his/her/their album.

2. The production contract

A C'mon Records production contract has typically the following outline:

*The record company agrees to provide professional arrangement and production facilities to the band or artist

*The record company agrees to provide professional recording and mastering facilities to the band or artist and to duplicate an agreed number of CDs for them

*The band or artist accords copyright where due to the arranger or producer.

*The band or artist may agree to buy fixed quantities of CDs to retail at gigs for a pre-arranged price which will leave them with a good margin of profit.

*The record company may further agree to market the band or artist's materials by web. In this instance, the recording company will retain a fixed percentage of profits obtained.

*The band or artist agrees to give the record company sole reproduction rights over his/her/their album.

3. The promotion contract


A C'mon Records promotion contract may be carried out in conjunction with a recording contract or a production contract, or as a separate matter. These are the typical agreements which it may entail:

*The record company agrees to approach a wide variety of radio stations and other publicity vehicles, with the intention of marketing the band's album or the artists's album.

*The record company assists the artist or band in the preparing of their portfolio or promo/press pack

*The record company arranges venues for the band or artists to perform at within their immediate vicinity and further afield if necessary.

*The band or artist agrees to the record label being the sole supplier and distributor of their album at a pre-arrange fee.

*The band or artist agrees to a pre-arranged fee for venue arrangement.
